Join your Cornwall Discovered representative for a fun, social and active day on the waters of the Fowey estuary, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We begin the day in the small but picturesque village of Golant for a morning of stand-up paddle boarding for beginners on the river. As they say, if you do not fall in, then you are clearly not trying hard enough! Journeying on to the nearby town of Fowey, a local Cornish lunch is in order after all of the hard work! Starting the afternoon with a guided walking tour of this iconic town’s highlights, we will gain the appetite for some more adventure. End this active day with a mackerel fishing trip led by an experienced Cornish skipper – make sure you don’t make any other dinner plans other than a BBQ! Weather and time of the year dependent.
