St. Austell is host to a couple of extremely famous gardens, but in true Cornwall Discovered fashion, let us reposition the compass and explore some hidden gems. Start the morning in the heart of St Austell exploring an 30-acre estate. Known as a garden for all seasons, Pinetum Gardens is comprised of several gardens within the one and is home to one of the largest plant collections in the county. After a short seminar into the history and ongoing work, enjoy plenty of time to take in this botanical paradise before a local lunch.

In the afternoon we will journey along the Cornish lanes to a smaller garden-gem, hidden in the Fowey valley, but one that is impressively partnered with the RHS. Enjoy a welcome from the owners before plenty of time to take in this award-winning wonderland.
