Join your Cornwall Discovered representative for the perfect pairing of gardens and gin! Spend your morning at beautiful gardens set within a 30-acre estate in the heart of St Austell. Known as a garden for all seasons, it is comprised of several gardens within the one and is home to one of the largest plant collections in the county. After a short seminar into the history and ongoing work, enjoy plenty of time to take in this botanical paradise before a local lunch. In the afternoon we will journey along the Cornish lanes to learn about the art of making gin in an up-and-coming distillery with emphasis on sustainability. Spend a leisurely afternoon learning about the process and of course sampling the goods in a gin masterclass.
Join your Cornwall Discovered representative for a day to celebrate all things relaxing! Start the day with some yoga deep within the Cornish countryside. Listen to the soundtrack of nature as your yoga instructor sets the relaxing mood for the day. After a morning herbal tea (or coffee should you prefer!), we head off for a morning of wildlife spotting in the areas around Fowey and Par, including a short enrichment session given by members of a local wildlife reserve project. After lunch near the sea, we head to a Cornwall Discovered organised wine workshop event at a local winery where there will be a welcome chat all about English winemaking before a short tour of the process and the main tasting event of a number of varieties.
