Day Experience: Hedgehogs and other friends

Join your Cornwall Discovered representative for a morning of discovering some of Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s projects whilst sitting amongst the trees. Enjoy the sounds of the birds and the nearby stream as you relax in our eco-friendly woodland-workshop and discuss all things wildlife including a local hedgehog conservation project. After some morning wildlife spotting in private woodland, we will then journey to the nearby town of Lostwithiel for a local lunch and stroll by the river before heading to the Wind in the Willows wildlife spot of Lerryn. Although you may not spot Ratty or Mole out on the river today, you will spend time here with a local bird watching expert to spot herons, egrets, kingfishers, cormorants and other residents. Finish the day with a delightful Cornish cream tea!
